Curmudgeon Films is a long running independent film company based in Los Angeles, with branch offices in New Orleans and Atlanta.

The company finances, produces, and services 4-8 movies per year, generally with budgets between $1 million and $10 million. It is best known for its successful coproductions with the Syfy Channel, Lifetime, and Hallmark Networks. The company also works within the studio model as it did with My Sister’s Keeper, and has a track record of delivering premium quality independent features at low cost such as it did with Cold Moon, and The Tenth Circle.

The company is currently filming Shooting Christmas for Hallmark in Georgia, and is developing the reboot of Rod Serling’s Night Galley for Universal Cable Productions with show runner J Michael Straczinski.
